
Select "Linear" as the "Style" and type "90" for the angle. This is the option where the color begins solid and fades down into a transparent canvas. Move the flipped layer until the edges of the two images are touching.Īpply a mask to the reflection layer by clicking on the round "Mask" button on the "Layers" palette and select "Gradient." Click on the "Foreground to Transparent" option in the "Gradient" menu. Move the bottom reflection layer, or the upside down layer, to the bottom of the canvas. Press the "V" key on your keyboard to activate the "Move" tool. This new area is used to create the reflection. Click anywhere on the document to deactivate the tool and click the "Crop" button. Drag the box down to create a blank area the size of the selected image. Look for a small square in the bottom center of the document, around the selected image.
